Learn the Rhythms of Renewal

Stay aligned with your true purpose

This is  a 5 week cycle that is specifically designed to help you get back into sync with your natural and spiritual rythmns so that you can manifest your mission with more freedom and confidence, in a space that allows your best self to flourish.  This will take work, as all great things do, but this will be work that is designed to best suit YOUR design, so the work matters!

The energy of the Spring Equinox is one of equality.

This is when nature sheds light equally upon north and south and upon all people. To prepare ourselves to embrace this energy and channel it into our lives, we will explore the impact of internalized oppression and root out its influence, physically and spiritually, creating a fertile ground for blossoming into our highest self.

Sunday, February 12, 2017 | Seattle WA | 1PM-5PM

Webinar 1: Clear the Way

Monday, February 13, 2017 @ 7:30pm PST

Understand how our concept of time impacts our energy on all levels. In this workshop we will learn to develop a new relationship with time and the cycles of the year that will help us naturally form supportive habits of regular renewal.  What's more, we will deepen on concepts that will prepare us for the two weeks of journaling with individual and collective reflections.  Concepts include:

  • Examine the effects of internalized oppression, particularly on the endocrine and immune system, as well as our ability to manifest our purpose
  • Begin to develop a healthy relationship with thoughts, food, and our reality
  • Prepare us to engage in the act of removing the old and creating behaviors, actions, habits, and patterns that support us in our life

This webinar will be available to registered participants Tuesday Feb 14, for the following week, to be watched at your convenience.

Process: Clear and Cleanse

From February 12- February 28

Everyone will be invited to join a secret Facebook support group in which we will share daily prompts for journaling and group reflection to help deepen and personalize the topics explored in the first workshop and prepare for the second workshop.

For all those that may feel they are too busy to take part in all the journaling and daily exercises, know that all the material you need will be given to you at the workshop or online webinar.  To support you in going deeper for these next 5 weeks, in internalizing the material and working through whatever comes up from the workshops, we are including weekly coaching calls,  daily journal prompts and a supportive online group, all optional.

Process: 19 Day Fast: Move and Restore

March 1 - March 20

The Badi calendar is both a  material and spiritual calendar, containing in it rhythms of renewal and the framework we will use to engage you in this process.

In this calendar, the New Year begins with the Spring Equinox, or Naw Ruz. The 19 days leading up to the New Year are designated as a time of deep spiritual reflection, purification, alignment, and preparation.  Those who are physically able participate in a Fast, abstaining from food and drink between sunrise and sunset, in order to hone their atonement with their spiritual self. Regardless of whether one is physically fasting, however, every moment of these 19 days offers unique spiritual energy to help us to align our creative, inherent potentialities with the Spring Equinox.

We have found that the wisdom of these seasons and cycles are echoed in traditional Chinese Medicine theory and the philosophies behind Wardolf education.

Feast of the Spring Equinox | Naw Ruz

March 21 | Seattle WA | 7:00-9:00pm

We will celebrate the arrival of Naw Ruz and the attainment of this milestone in our journey with a sacred evening of ceremony, celebration, sharing, and blessing.

And Onwards: Blossoming, Awakening, and Becoming...

Kirby Teuila Grey

Kirby Teuila Grey is an acupuncturist, herbalist, bodyworker and spiritual practitioner hailing from Seattle, WA.

After studying theology, Kirby decided that the best way to heal herself and others was to engage with Eastern Medicine and the healing arts. With these tools and her experience and observations of the world, Kirby seeks to help folks heal from the material and spiritual diseases that ail them; to reconnect and engage with themselves holistically, systematically and in unity.

Currently, she is working to create a framework that uses various tools, including ceremony, ritual, inner work, body movement, and storytelling to help people initiate, connect, and/or remember who they ARE. Whether it's a woman who's recently transitioned into motherhood, young adults in their transitions to adulthood, individuals reconnecting after addiction, or communities dealing with systematic and internalized oppression, Kirby welcomes them into her practice with an open heart.  It is her personal mission to help folks get the support, healing, and tools they need to actualize their purpose IN THIS LIFE.

Elham Simmons

Elham is an educator, a mother, a ceaseless maker, and a Seattle native who actually doesn't mind the grey.

17 years ago someone asked her "Elham, what are you going to be when you grow up?" Her response was "I'm going to be a teacher. But I'm not quite ready to do that yet, so in the meantime I'll explore."  And explore she has, from Ecuador and Panama, to Turkey, France, South Africa, Spain, and Switzerland.  And yet, during all that time, Elham has always worked as an educator, with both adults and children. It has been a winding journey of discovery, at times knowing the destination with deep certainty, only to turn a corner and see everything anew. But through those layers of inner and outer exploration Elham has learned that she is best when helping others tune into their true nature - as spiritual beings of great beauty and potential. In those moments when she has experienced it, either in her health coaching at a fancy five star hotel spa in Switzerland, or with small children tuning into the cycles of the seasons in her small neighborhood class, or even when making things of beauty by hand that help us remember our everlasting beauty, she resonates with a memory of what she is here to do.
Elham studied International Studies, Comparative History of Ideas, and French Language and Literature, earning a triple major and double degree from the University of Washington in 2005.

She is a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition since 2008 and has worked both in private practice in Seattle, and as the Nutrition Coach at La Reserve Hotel's top-rated spa in Geneva, Switzerland.

Since 2014 Elham has dedicated her time and self to being a single mother to her sweet daughter, Lilia. She also has a small business, Tiny Seed Apparel, supplying local boutiques with handmade clothes. She is currently in her Foundation Studies year for Waldorf teacher training.
